81 Speedway

Built in 1954 on the outskirts of Wichita, Ks, the facility opened as Robbins Speedway and was a half-mile dirt oval.  The speedway operated on Sunday nights for only four years before it was sold to Wichita businessman O.L. Douglas in 1958 who changed the name to its present 81 Speedway.

Hartman Arena

Hartman Arena is a 6,500 seat, multi-purpose facility with 15 acres of on-site parking and is uniquely configured so that there is literally not a bad seat in the house. The arena has hosted a range of concerts from Alan Jackson and Slipknot, to New Kids On The Block and Earth Wind & Fire/Chicago. It is also home of the Wichita Wild Indoor Pro Football Team and Wichita Wings Indoor Soccer Team. Other shows including monster trucks, Thomas and Friends Live, The Xtreme Outdoor Expo, Wrangler Pro Rodeo, Alice Cooper and many more have been part of Hartman's event list.
